Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026. At Roserug Inc., our commitment to privacy is absolute. We build software that respects your boundaries by design.
1. Local-First Intelligence
Glasshouse is built on a local-first architecture. This means the vast majority of our processing, including our Zero Knowledge Algorithm (ZKA), occurs directly on your device. We do not extract a minefield out of your reading habits.
Your Vault contents, saved articles, and mental mood considerations are cryptographically sealed and never transmitted to our servers without explicit, opt-in sync functionality.
2. Zero Data Brokering
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.
Our business model is based entirely on providing exceptional software. We do not build profiles on our users for targeted advertising, nor do we monetize your privacy. You are the customer, not the product.
3. Usage of Telemetry
Any diagnostic or telemetry data collected is anonymized at the edge. It is utilized exclusively for the following narrow purposes:
- Detecting and preventing malicious behavior, scraping, or abuse of our infrastructure.
- Diagnostic troubleshooting to ensure uptime and system reliability.
- Fundamental product enhancements that directly improve the platform for all users.
4. Security Infrastructure
We apply rigorous encryption standards to all data in transit and at rest. Because we purposefully hold minimal identifiable data, our systemic risk vector is fundamentally reduced by design. We handle the burden of security so you can focus entirely on your digital newspaper experience.
